iRecordMusic will run on any Apple Mac with:
Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later
iCal 1.5.5 or greater (for scheduling)
iTunes 4
Safari 1.0 or greater
QuickTime 6.4 or greater
Enhance the multi-media capabilities of iRecordMusic and your Mac so that you can listen to and record more Internet audio formats, such as RealAudio and WindowsMedia, which OS X does not support by default. The software listed below is freely available.
RealPlayer (for RealAudio and RealVideo support)
The free player is available from Real.com (top right-hand corner).
WindowsMedia Player (for WindowsMedia support)
The free player is available from Microsoft.com
LAME MP3 Encoder (for LAME MP3 encoding and real-time encoding support)

Ogg Vorbis QuickTime Component (for Ogg Vorbis playback in iTunes and QuickTime)

VLC (application software to playback Ogg Vorbis, FLAC and other media)
This excellent free player is available from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/, and can play many media formats not normally supported on the Mac.
Note that there are no versions of iRecordMusic planned for either MacOS 9, or for the Windows platform.
