iRecordMusic Features

With iRecordMusic you can:

Record Internet Audio

You can now record Internet audio from almost any Mac OS X compatible web page or stream you find on the Internet.

Playback on iPod, PDAs and Mobile Phones

Audio can be recorded in popular formats such as MP3, MP4-AAC and AIFF, allowing playback on iPods and other devices. Other recording formats such as 3GPP, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis and Apple Lossless are also available.

Real-Time Encoding

You can encode in real-time, if your computer is fast enough, to MP3 (with Lame MP3 encoder), FLAC and Ogg Vorbis. This saves disc space by avoiding the need to record temporary AIFF files.

Schedule recordings via iCal

You can set up recordings for your favourite shows by using iCal.

Make multiple recordings at the same time

Record audio from multiple sources (2, 3, 4, maybe even more!) at the same time, and continue to use your Mac to listen to iTunes while you record.

Works with iTunes

You can add recordings straight to iTunes, labelled with your own session information. In iTunes, you can burn recordings to CD, or drag recordings onto your iPod.

Supports Many Audio Formats

Record Internet audio broadcast in RealAudio, RealVideo, WindowsMedia, QuickTime, Flash, MP3, Midi, etc. In fact, pretty much everything you hear in the iRecordMusic browser, you can record.

Splitting Options

Split recordings into segments by time, or on the dot e.g. every half-hour, or on the hour. Large files in the AAC format can also be bookmarked in iTunes and the iPod.

Works With You

iRecordMusic works with you. One application is all you need. Unlike other audio products, there is no need to learn how to juggle several different applications to make a single recording. You won't get system alerts, iChat beeps or other audio sources mixed in with your recording.

Based on core Apple Technology

iRecordMusic takes a unique browser approach to Internet audio recording, making it suitable for novices and experts alike. Surf, Listen, Record. As Apple improves its WebKit technology, and companies like Real and Microsoft update their Internet plug-ins, iRecordMusic automatically benefits from the improvements.
